Storm clean up in Ohio

Spent most of the late afternoon cleaning up after the 85 mph winds we had yesterday. Lost several trees in the woods but no damage to the house or barns.

Many in the area were not that lucky.

Dan looks like things were wild and wooly for a time. Judging by the debris all over the place. Glad you and yours and the home are ok.

We are in union county, just west of Columbus. According to the weathermen we had over 80 mph wind also. House and building are intact, no damage. With the temps we have been having I'm kinda glad the pool survived also. My metal gazebo bit the dust though. It was so flimsy I didn't have to use the Case to pull it apart.

Glad the house and barns are OK. Did you lose power?
We had a storm come thru south west MI last year Memorial Day. My property has an old barn on it. All the metal roofing came off the east side and pieces of roofing ended up in a tree 40' high. I lost hundreds of mature cherry trees. I am still cleaning up. The grapple has really paid for it self.

Family in WV is still without power. Like you, no damage to the homestead, but alot of trees down on the farm. Glad your house and barns made it through ok.

We are in Coshocton Ohio and have very similar clean up to do. Lost a few trees in our woods and our yard looks like Dan's. No damage to our house however our neighbor had a tree fall thru their 2nd floor. Lost power in the first 30 min of the storm and had power back on about 3PM on Sat. Compared to others we feel fortunate that our cleanup is just an inconvenience. Cleanup is slow due to the heat.
