I reported a whole bunch also, but then it got so I would report one and three more would show up and I realized it was a losing battle.

Unfortunately it was an existing user profile that got hacked:

I believe this was the third (?) instance of an existing account being used to spam the forums.
Make sure to use different passwords for each account on the web, so that the inevitable breach will not be so catastrophic.
