I have always felt that the most likely suspects in a theft like yours is the neighbors. Or some person who frequently visits the neighbors.

It looks as if the Yanmar is long gone, but luckily I've got a replacement policy so I'm tasked with finding a new comparable tractor to the Yanmar. What this means is that I'll likely be getting a Kubota, sadly it means that I won't be doing any more of my own wrenching on it as I did on the Yanmar - I will miss that

I saw this on Ebay:
COMPACT TRACTOR - eBay (item 280192458921 end time Jan-19-08 15:41:03 PST)
It is not listed as the same model but the muffler looks the same. Yours seems pretty unique to me. Is the muffler direction common on Yanmars?
Sincerely,

third one down is a YM2002 w/ a bulldog loader.
Similar configuration to mine, but I can't tell from the photos if it is![]()
Oh for crying out loud....MOST of the same model will look "similar", and a lot of the vn recons have a bulldog loader. I scanned this thread again, and still don't find any serial numbers, either engine or chassis. If you have none, the odds of establishing ownership even if you find "it" are almost nil. Now you're casting aspersions against a long-established dealer because a picture on their website of a YM2002 is "similar" to yours. I am truly sorry your tractor was stolen, but so far I've not seen you post anything that you can use to document ownership of a particular unit.marcinzk said:I hate to bring this back from the dead, but I just found this:

What paperwork? So far all he's offered as proof of ownership is some pictures. I am not doubting that he bought a tractor and had it stolen, but if you showed up at my place with a sheriff with absolutely no evidence other than a picture off our website that showed the same model you have pictures of, you'd be leaving unless you had a search warrant.MrJimi said:I would be going for a ride with all paper work and a sheriff![]()
