+1 on the spark arrester plus check your in-tank fuel filter and fuel lines. Did you replace the filter screen in the carburetor and adjust the metering diaphragm rocker? Go to Zama's web site and read the technical hints. New carbs are only about $50 now. Don't rule out the spark plug as part of the problem.
Thanks guys I took the spark arrester screen out and it cranked right up and runs great now, would it be ok to run it like that or do i need to pick one up tomorrow?

I have frequently run chainsaws w/o the screen. I have also heard opinions that running w/o screen decreases engine life (don't know how). I would probably get a new one for the noise if nothing else.
