Hi guys I've got a cub 1250 and it's not getting gas , so I took the carb apart and saw that when the float drops down the needle valve stays stuck in place and dose not allow any gas to come in . I have cleaned the carb and put it back together and the valve is still sticking not sure what to do ?

Get a new needle and seat for the carb. Over time these are wear items and they tend to wear out faster due to the ethanol in fuel today.

The 1250 feeds gas by gravity so there isn't much fuel pressure to force a sticking needle valve open. Some needles have a rubber tip which can deteriorate, especially with ethanol.

Thanks guys for the info , my problem now is that I cant find any parts for my carb it's a walbro 52 . All the parts dealers in my area say that they need the model number off the motor in order the get parts for the carb . Thing is that the tag with the model number on the motor is no longer there
