So after clearing brush from what will be my drain felt for the new house, and running a stick threw my Grill Guard, I decided to read a little about how to prevent this on the forums. And well this is what I did the picks should explain it all, Anyone else have any other ideas for anything more I should add?? gril 1.jpg

Looks really good, I need to do something like that on mine.

I had the very same problem with my Kubota L39. I fixed mine the same way except I welded some rebar to strengthen the screen sections in the center. I've had at least one stick caught in the screen that I'm sure would have done some damage.

Yep, that should work.
And the guard is far enough forward that it shouldn't impede air flow over the radiator even if the guard is all plugged up with leaves.

It is about the best you can do. You can't cover all cases, but this will knock out almost all of the bad actors. If anything punctures that and takes out your radiator, then the extra guard wouldn't have really mattered. Nice workmanship. Better than I did.
