While working in my shop a few minutes ago, I looked out and saw this pretty girl at my feeder.

This is the same feeder that Steph shot her first hog at last month and I shot one a few weeks before.

The feeder is around 100 yards away. The first picture is in optical zoom with me standing upright behind a bush.

This picture is from the same location, but with digital zoom too. I'm still standing and holding the camera without support, but did half click the shutter for it to focus before taking the picture.

We sure like this camera!!!!!

You got a REAL camera there... love the digital zoon... still very clear.... great pics... you'll enjoy these.. I can see a whole trophy room of photos all over the walls and ceiling of critters you've shot on the place /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

These green ones are fairly common. They must hang around the light on the back of the shop at night, then stay put all day long. It's also very common to see them dead on the ground or pices of them the next morning.

It's probably four inches across.

Anybody know what it is???

This picture is a few years old from when I was building my "Container Barn."

I noticed the picture while filing the one for the green moth above. Since this one has such amazing colors and paterns, I thought I'd share it. I've never seen one since this picture, but have come across parts of the wings from time to time at the container barn. Never here at the new house which is just a thousand feet away.

It's bigger than the green moth, maybe five inches across.

Anybody know what it is?

These are all over the place. Mostly this bright green, but on tree trunks, they turn brown.
