Was bush hogging this afternoon and noticed that my steering wheel was moving- after I would finish a turn, the emblem wouldn't be where it was when I started. It seemed to be primarily when making sharper turns. I don't know if the wheel is slipping on the column or something worse. Anyone run into this before? Any idea what to look for? I'll call me dealer Monday but want to make sure I'm not tearing anything up.

I just wasn't sure about it. My Kubota B7800 has power steering but I've never noticed it not returning to the same position every time. Perhaps just a different type of mechanism. I'll have to look and see if it has a dedicated power steering pump (as I don't recall ever looking for it before ).

If you have hydrostatic drive steering which most tractors have that is normal. You will get a bit of by pass in the steering motor which will get more and more with age as the seals wear

Yeah I noticed it too. Not while driving tho, I noticed mine after the 3rd time of removing the center cap and trying to line it up straight with the wheels. I thought I was losing my mind lol, each time I'd park it, the dang logo wasn't straight again!

Yeh, does make you wonder, especially when you weren't expecting it. I had thought about putting a steering knob on the wheel but I think I'll hold off since you never know where it's going to be position wise when you finish a turn.
