Steering Shaft Seal for 2110 4WD.How expensive?

Hot situation on a well kept 2 owner 2550 hour tractor 1985 2110 diesel 4WD with loader. How expensive or difficult to replace a Steering Shaft seal. Seller cannot tell me how much it is leaking ??? Ford 2110 4WD Had a load of new repairs: 1 year old 2 stage clutch, drive shaft and front seals, o rings, front tires,Volt regulator,battery, all new hoses, Alternator, all fluids, new front tires for less than $8500.

I'd buy it in a minute if the motor & tranny seem strong. Try shifting through all the gears. Engaging and disengaging PTO, 4wd and all the ranges. If they all seem ok the price seems very good. 2120's with the same equipment still go for 16-18K.

Thanks and I will buy it if it is still available. Likely missed it. No returned call and it was 1.5 hours away. Any phone negotiating to hold a tractor if it is per the description techniques that have worked for you or others. Since a couple of blind dates in High School I have stayed away from unseen surprises.
