steering shaft reinsertion problem!

My steering shaft snapped in 2, got welded, managed once to line it up and turn it in, removed it to put the cover back and now cant get it back inplace == any help? Thnx in advance, got me so ticked off i cant think! LOL

You need to remove the sector shaft to install the steering shaft.
