Steering Problem- Is this really happening?

/ Steering Problem- Is this really happening? #21
I am pretty sure my dad has at least twice had the dealer "straighten" the steering wheel on our 790 so the John Deere emblem was 'correct'.. At first it took me a while to figure out what he was talking about, but after spending some time on the tractor I knew it was made that way. But until tonite i didnt know why the emblem was floating..

thanks

Glad to hear that so many other people have been taken aback by this phenomenum. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on with the spinner knob on our new tractor - didn't make me feel too warm and fuzzy when everytime that knob was in a different place on the straightaway. As loose as the steering is on the old rig, it never did that trick!

our forklift at work is like that. I had to prove to the warehouse man that we were not moving the spinner around on him after hours as a joke. this was after he almost drove off the loading dock while looking back and holding the spinner at 6:00.:D :D
