Anyone rebuilt the steering piston on their tractor, the puddle on my garage floor is growing.

I rebuilt my cylinder. Pretty straight forward. Clean, clean, clean. before installing the orings and seals.

Finally started, any suggestions on how to remove part 150 on the diagram?
there is just not a of room in there?
I have a clamp on the C parts trying to compress them... did not see a difference.
thanks,
Ken

The item C in your diagram appears to be the cylinder head(or gland as it's sometimes referred to). Try to drive that deeper into the cylinder a bit. Maybe 1/4 in or so. That should provide some room to pick out the wire ring. Then everything should come out with a little persuasion.

The C gland goes against a shoulder inside part 90 so it won't move further in. The retainer ring should have just enough clearance around the gland to come up and out using a pointed tool with hooked end.
