Some may think this question silly, some may not. Has anyone ever switched the pedals to the opposite side of the machine so that it is'nt so awkward to use the steering brakes and the propel pedal at the same time?

I'd love to hear it if somebody can figure it out. Probably more adding left and right brakes to the left side as opposed to moving them.

I never used the left, or right brakes independently , i was told by my dealer, that it was not a good to do with an Hst ...so i have left the pedals tied-up together .......after more then 500 hours on it... i never felt like i needed to get the steering brakes working !

Do you guys have cruise control on the CK20,?, I use that the few times I have needed to use the steering brakes on my Kubota. It works ok, but you cannot use steering brakes in reverse, only going forward. Never heard of the "should not use with HST" thing. Kubota reccomends using the cruise to hold the "go" pedal while you use your right foot to steer.. some of the flat deck machines make it easier to use your left foot to press the brakes and still have your right foot on the hydro pedal..This is know as the "kubota shuffle". I noticed that the DK40se had the brakes on the left (and no clutch)
