Kubota orange was nearly as pricey. F them. I googled around and found a guy showing alternative spray paint that matched the color. Only problem is it fades in a yr or two so you have to keep putting on fresh paint

Can you still take a chip into the paint store and get it matched?

I'm going to see if manual has a paint code, then take to a paint shop. I have never seen a 12 oz can for more than $15. I'm sure they can justify the price, somehow.
This is a brand new tractor. Still has 2 hours on it. I get it's a tractor, which is why I didn't say anything on delivery. Had I known the price of touch up, I woulda/shoulda/coulda worked one for free. I'm not concerned about rusting, as it's at least 1/4" thick steel. Just don't want paint flaking off. Maybe I should just take it out while it's still muddy, that'll cover it up.

All paint has gotten stupid in price.

All paint has gone through the roof on price. Back when I was painting cars, a gallon of premium acrylic black was around $130. Plus you had the thinner and hardener that added another $50-$60. That was high back in the 90s and early 2000s. Today, that paint isn't even available and the nearest replacement paint is about $1200 per gallon.

I was able to score two spray cans of factory Ford Blue for my 3910 a few months ago. IIRAC, it was around $56 on eBay. I was happy to get it. I just used some of it yesterday to touch up the shift tower cover.

I have bought spray paint at Tractor Supply in the past for a reasonable price. Not the OEM but just as good.

Another advantage of sticking to large brands. I walked into a Tractor Supply store last year and bought a can of New Holland Blue paint for a song and was on my way....
