On the topic of steel wheels----

Once I was hi balling it and felt that vibration that comes from 'steel wheels' or 'dozer tracks' so I slowed down and pulled into a service station to have my left front checked.
They refused to service me and as I pulled away my left front wheel fell off and rolled away.
That car was quite new and the left front never left the factory with any grease.

Close call to say the least!
