Jimgerken; I have a new holland tc 55 with the new 270 curved boom loader and you are right. It acts more like a truss to spread the weight and stress over the whole frame. For a 22 hp tractor I don't think it is necessary due to the limited weight capacity. It would look neat but not worth the hours of welding plus the steel waste for the arch sides. I have a plan for a new design profile in mind. I think you will be surprised when you see the results. I haven't seen one on the computer so it will be trial and error.

Sherweld; I have seen the photos before on another site but not any construction details. The design is so old with the huge angles it make the loader look like a 1940s model. There has to be something more pleasing to the eye as well as functional in my mind. That is the beauty of fabrication....... putting your own little efforts to make it stand out from others. Besides... I work really cheap !!

Speaking of pictures....... does anyone have the knowledge how to reduce picture size for e mail on the Vista format ? If I go smaller in the camera the quality for enlargements is gone. I would gladly post pictures but they don't send real well at full size.

Several ways come to mind, easiest I can think of is "windows photo gallery" which I believe comes with Vista. Top bar should have email option which should automatically reduce size.

Joe, The JD #410 loader fits your 4110. My loader in is quick-attach, plus the bucket is equipped as quick-attach. The load rating for the loader is about 800 lbs.

Maybe worth the time to price the factory loader for your machine.?!

I've done heavy steel fab/welding for a number of years. I still, would check with your JD dealer for details. Remember to figure your labor AND materials/parts into the price of making your loader. Have fun!
