James, I was sorely tempted but I'm kinda recovering from buying a 50 foot manlift (tree maintenance, etc) and I don't really NEED it - plus that's about a 300 mile round trip for me to check out a (maybe) scam. Next best thing for me is if someone here can get a deal.
npalen - I've not used the term "rockshaft" in that way - but if you mean ripper control, then yes. When that cylinder is closed, rippers are down and locked with a sort of "over center" linkage.
Rippers are held in their individual slots in the rotating box beam by "mil spec bobby pins" that keep one of 3 notches on each ripper shank locked in place in its slot. When I did that pushout several years ago I had all rippers in the deepest position, gave me 6-8 inches of penetration before the cutting edge touched the ground.
Doesn't always mean much, but the ad's still there... Steve
By "rockshaft" I was referring to the shaft that normally drives the two upper lift arms. This would be the shaft that is normally driven by the internal cylinder of the tractor.
