My B5200 Kobota probably at least 1990 or earlier been running lake a champ but today I stopped it by pulling the compression knob and when I came back to start it again it will not start. The power is there and I even put the fast charge on to see if the battary was low but it gets power to the glow plug or at least I can feel it on the dash and the lights for the dash is on . It acts like I didn't take the thing out o gear. but I checked both the mower and the tractor and they seem to be out of gear.

Can't figure the problem.????

I was just trying to see if I could do anything else and I tried it again and it cranked once and then I think it stopped because the battery now seems low but the charger I have was in start mode but still could not get it going .

I will hook up the truck to see if that has anymore power while I leave the charger on for a while.

Did you check that all your electrical connections to the battery, starter, ground, etc. are clean and tight? I would also check the fuses for corrosion on the ends.

don't see any loose connections but wonder if it is the switch that only connects sometimes?

Have you tried starting it with the decompression knob pulled out? It should spin it pretty fast even with a weak battery.
