My builder says all the mechanical work should be done next week so we can get it inspected and insulated. After that I'll feel much better about everything. I would imagine as soon as the Plumber and HVAC guys are done we can roof it.

I took this picture yesterday looking straight back from my house. You can see most of the leaves are turned.

Hate hearing that about your inspector and having to redo the leach field. I would have thought that the contractor installing it would have known how to do it and if there was any questions, contacted the inspector for clarification before moving forward. Some inspectors can be very difficult, but in my experience, the more questions you ask of them, the more helpful they become.

Was this the same crew pouring your porch that did the rest of your concrete work? Why didn't they use chairs on the rebar? It's a shame that you paid for rebar, but it's just laying on the rock and not doing anything.

Good catch. Most inspectors want to see the rebar up off of the stone before a pour.

I got my well pump installed today and wired up temporarily. Nice to have running water.:thumbsup:
