Damn I wish mine was that easy to keep happy.
My wife works from home over a vpn, and she will be working on a big spread sheet and it will drop out.
Damn thing says obstructions, but it only shows the slightest bit of red to the east.
Trees are getting bigger every year, I've remounted it 3 times already and getting ready for a 4th time.

For most things, 20Mb download is fine. Biggest speed limiter is the server you are accessing.
The company I worked for was consumed by a monster (think Larry E) and we were FORCED to use their internal VPN for a mandatory purpose. Our group was entirely remote all over the world. Our manager procured us all 2nd laptops so we could watch the one connected to the VPN out of the corner of our eye so when the page/app finally loaded we could finish our effort. It was not a moral building experience working for that big name and the recollection of the idiom "Nothing's too bad for the employees".

Yup. VPN does slow things down a very little bit but it's the server and the data/app being accessed that is the choke point.

We live in the forest and I have the 2nd gen dish in the best possible place. I get the 'red' interference on the extents of 3 sides. But the dish never loses the connection or has any noticeable speed reduction.

Yup, funny thing about those trees getting a little taller every year. They are the reason I can't add a windmill to our solar in a place that has plenty of air movement 75' up.

Just install a windmill with expanding legs……..

I got my fiber now (Frontier). 500M for $47/mo. Replaced my old DSL (28/2M for $90/mo). Funny thing: does not seem any faster, except for uploading a video to Utube.
Fiber is symmetrical...you get the same speed both ways. Most others are asymmetrical, with MUCH slower speeds up than down. When we went from cable to fiber here, I didn't notice a huge difference in d/l even though it was 3x the speed (300 vs 100), but, man do those uploads fly!! Previously only got around 22 up, now it's the same as down.

Not with Spectrum fiber.

Yes, my Frontier fiber is symmetrical, and I verified that: 500/500M.

I thought fiber was generally symmetrical, but apparently not with Spectrum. Good thing most customers don't upload videos.

With g-pon it's not symmetrical. The company can make it symmetrical, but it's something like 2.5g down and 1g up. Very few people need 500 up.

We've had a number of thunderstorms come through lately. Quite often the Dish TV receiver loses connection & switches to internet streaming to prevent program interruption. Starlink is our only ISP and has never failed to provide an uninterrupted continuation of the program. No buffering delays or glitches. It may well be impacted, but not enough to be noticeable in this case.
