From Starlink
Due to excessive levels of inflation, the price of the Starlink kit is increasing from $499 to $549 for deposit holders, and $599 for all new orders, effective today. In addition, the Starlink monthly service price will increase from $99 to $110. The new price will apply to your subscription on 5/4/2022.

The sole purpose of these adjustments is to keep pace with rising inflation. If you do not wish to continue your service, you can cancel at any time and return your Starlink hardware within your first year of service for a partial refund of $200. If you have received your Starlink in the past 30 days, you can return it for a full refund.

Since launching our public beta service in October 2020, the Starlink team has tripled the number of satellites in orbit, quadrupled the number of ground stations and made continuous improvements to our network. Going forward, users can expect Starlink to maintain its cadence of continuous network improvements as well as new feature additions.

Thank you for being a Starlink customer and your continued support!

The Starlink Team
I just got the same email. Based on the disappointing performance of my Starlink system so far, I may have to rethink this. I'm within the 30 day period so I can get a full refund if I choose to.

Ten and twenty percent increases, that’s pretty bold.
Why you say that you didn't think it would go up when it got out of beta.

I got the same email. I was hopeful that it was being shipped but instead they just want more money for something I have not received yet. Lol

This is just the tip of price increases from Starlink Im afraid.
Next they will be limiting data so more people can enjoy the service.

Same here. Since placing a deposit I have received 3 emails from Starlink:

1. We took your money
2. The install date we gave won't be met and your new date is a year or more out
3. The price went up. So if you ever get it, the price is more to start and more for monthly service

At this point I'd say I'm tired of getting emails from Starlink.

I agree Lou. We will see if it ever really becomes available. I guess they need a increase to help cover the cost for what they gave to Ukraine. I am ok with that.

Since I’m thinking of moving when I retire, and I can’t just move starlink, I might have to reconsider getting it right now. Right now my LTE mobley service works for what I need.

I just got the email.

In Canada our price just went from $129 to $140 per month. It was over priced before the cost increase for spotty service, now it's time to look for alternatives.
