stalled tractor in gear,wont turnover now,,power to solenoid,,i think its gearbox switch,can i jump it etc?..thankyou

I do not own that model but lets work through the optoins.
Assume 12 V negative ground chassic
12V positive to solenoid
possible clutch pedal safety interlock
possible neutral gear box interlock
on the solenoid there could be a small jumper that connects to the large positive,
that would be the pull in coil
the pull in coil pulls a plunger forward moving the bendix and at the last moment the
main contact makes providing the heavy current 12V to turn over the engine.

This is off the top of my head, a jumper wire will complete the circuit to the pull in coil.
I would make sure the clutch is down , the key is in the run position and do the jump connections with a helper in the driver seat.

THANKS CRAIG,,I JUMPED SOLENOID FOR A SEC,,THEN IT WORKED,I THINK SOMETHING WAS STUCK WHEN COLD,,JIM Assume 12 V negative ground chassic

Neutral safety switch goes into transmission top caver left center, this has a two wire plug that you can bypass the safety switch and prove if that is the problem. If no change, small wire to starter solenoid on right side just a short distance from starter can be jumped to battery side of solenoid and starter should crank, Be safe, check for neutral both shift levers and brake on.
