My advice is to go to your nearest auto parts store and tell the clerk about the stain problem. He should be able to direct you to the correct product in regards to auto upholstery. There are many different versions, but I have used the Foam type before and the results were great. Good Luck.

Folex. You should be able to find it at Target, Walmart, etc. Very good stuff and with some stains, they disappear without scrubbing. Also if you have one of those Bissell "Little Green Machine" extractors, use it after scrubbing with Folex and extract.

Try wiping it down with boiling water. The heat breaks down the sugar and helps the stain go away be generous with the water it will dry with some towels. It was a trick I saw on a TV program and it worked on my truck seats. If it doesn't work no cost to you.

Rear seat? Take it out and pressure wash it. It'll take awhile to dry, maybe a week or two. If adult daughter and it's a front seat go with seat covers.

Oxy Clean will also do a great job. Pour it on, rub it gently and vacume it out.

Mix a cup of liquid laundry detergent (Tide) with a 3/4 to a gallon of hot water, manually mix it until very sudsy and use a stiff nylon brush to scrub the seats and carpets, follow directly behind the scrubbing with a shop vac. To dry it, park the vehicle with all windows slightly open and the heat on full tilt for about a half hour. I have used this method for years and even my 86' looks brand new.
Very dirty vehicles will require you to change the water often, I never recommend the use of harsh chemicals on any surface you are sitting or in an enclosed space like a vehicle.

I've taken ball point pen ink from light colored seat material with electrical contact cleaner.

I worked with a guy who detailed cars aboyt 25 years ago. When cloth non electric seats were really soiled, we removed them from the car and used water and carpet cleaners to remove the stains. then we wet dry vacuumed it. If its a warm day, put the seat back in and leave an inch or so open on the windows and let the heat/sun finish drying them.
