Forget the calendar; Spring has arrived. The garden's up, grass had to be mowed, but the real way I know is I noticed the Bluebonnets blooming alongside the highway this morning./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Hi Bird,

Maybe that's the case where you live. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Here it's in the 30's, but goes into the 40's often enough so we have mud. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif The tractor is in the garage, and the tracks I dig in the mud when I drive out with it are about 1.5 feet deep at this point. Spring arrives early down south. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well, we got a little bit of that northern weather. A cold front came through yesterday evening and this morning it was down to 47 (supposed to get even cooler tonight) and we've had 20-30 mph north wind all day./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Kevin,
did you have to send that crap this way? Mom told me on Sunday that mid-Alberta had snowstorm warnings ... and I wake up Tuesday morning to 3+ inches of snow on the van.
I'd be happy to send it back if you like!

Hey Peter,

This is Alberta man!!! We'd love to send all our crappy weather anywhere!! Seriously though, it was so dry here for the last couple of years that I don't think anyone is complaining too hard!! We'll take anything we can get.

Hey Kevin, as hot as the Oil have been I would have thought you would overlooked a little cold. On the other hand as cold as the Stars it is freezing me to death/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.
I need to mow just like Bird said but it has been raining every weekend for the last two weeks and is supposed to rain again this weekend/w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif.

Knight9:

You know perfectectly well that in Alberta there is no spring on April 02. Thats prime ski season.

I have spent many a year watching all my garden produce sucumbe to an early June Frost.
