Well this is the first day of spring /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif but...were in the middle of mud season,got 4"of snow yesterday and 4"to5" of snow heading this way for the evening /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif still no signs of a Robin or Geese..its been a strange year so far.

I hear ya Thomas. Yesterday was a very pleasant day, this morning it's drizzling a bit and tomorrow we're supposed to have 1-3 inches of snow /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif Not sure what to make of all this /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Got to love the northeast./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I have seen some Geese at my place in the weekends. They must not have made it up to you yet.[slow Geese??]/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I am glad it is spring. Now I can start the building of my house. I SO want to get out of the city, and back to my childhood home in the country. Builder comes out next week to scope out my land, first draft of the contract is in the mail to me. Still snizzling down here (snow/drizzle) in southern NH. That snow was a bit of a pain as the ground is soft but sure was nice to get some seat time.

Supposed to be heading up to Maine in the morning (drop off a canoe and look at some land) - so I hope tonight's snow isnt too bad. We have tons of robins and have seen a few geese here and there.

We have had it great so far this month. A bit wet, but it is spring after all.But temps in the high 60s and 70's for the last couple of weeks and now they say in the low 80s (thats a bit to warm for this early.) I know were all the robins are any way, in my yard.Last weekend there were so many.That when they took off it looked like a swarm.If i'd thrown a rock. I'd of hit ten in one shot...It's been so warm, that with the longer days, it's already close to cutting the pasture time. It's already 6in high in some places. if it dries out a bit...As you say it's fairly muddy.ya'll enjoy...

Heard the spring peepers (frogs) on Friday - earliest I can remember. The ducks have been paired up since ~Feb 24th.

Now they say it will only be in the low 70's the next few day's.If ya don't like the weather in Bama just wait a lil while...Spring Fever hit any one yet???

Its been A crazy March. We hardly ever get snow here in Washington but in the last 2 weeks we have been getting it about every other day. We just received 5" last night and its still snowing? I wish I could have stayed home and played with the kids in the snow. No School day.. They love it.

Just had 4 inches of ran in 24 hr period yesterday and stuck at home today. It seems that that was just to much for these hills around here to soak up at once.

Today was kinda wierd around here. Started out looking nice, sun shining. Got up to the low 50's around 2pm. Around 3pm temp started dropping like a rock. Around 5pm started snowing. Crazy weather.

That's for sure. We've been having warm weather; got about an inch and a half of rain the last 3 days; just right for the garden which is all planted. The turnips and radishes are up for the second time (lost the first planting to a late freeze), plum trees in bloom, etc. . . . and now we're in for a freeze again tonight, so I guess I'll lose most of the tomato, pepper, cabbage, and cauliflower plants./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

We had an "Alberta clipper" come through yesterday afternoon. It was +5 C early yesterday afernoon. This morning it was -10 C with significant wind but no snow. It is supposed to warm up in another day or two.

2 degrees this morning with 30 knot winds. Brrrr! Even the dogs stayed in bed! Now that it's warmed up to 17 I have no excuse for not doing the chores. But that wind sure does cut right thru me! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

This morning the mailman came and delivered the mail and was bundled like up in the Arctic... and with a Russian fur hat...

I joked saying "it can't possibly be that cold..."... he said to look at the American flags on the mail truck with the heavy inds whipping away...

Seen my first robin today./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif In fact got a backyard full of 'em this afternoon.

Bitter cold and windy here too. 8" of fresh snow covered the ground as of yesterday morn.

Well, gotta look at the bright side of things... At least there's no mud. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

4F w/a 15 to 20mph wind since day break,also 2 snowstorm in 2 days 13" of snow..almost beating the snow fall for the month of Febuary.

Still no signs of a Robin&Nut Hatch etc.. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

How much is gas over there now??
Gone up 10 cents a gallon since Monday over here. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Yep, gas is going up again; paid $1.259 this week for 87 octane.
