Spring Fever

Anyone else besides me getting spring fever? It was very nice here today for it still being Feburary. There was a lot of fertlizer being spread on the fields, tile work, burning of ditches etc. I took the dogs out and walked some of my fields to see if all the tiles were working. I have got almost all the parts for the tractors to get them ready to go. I am hoping for a mild march and a normal April to get started planting corn.

Depending on which station you listen to we are "suppose" to get anywhere from six to thirteen inches of snow starting tonight. I can't complain to much since we really haven't had hardly any snow all season. We had about five inches on Saturday.

The wife is getting spring fever really bad, I thought she was going to start crying when she heard the forecast. If it was up to her we would move somewhere south, I think anywhere would be OK with her as long as she didn't have to put up with the snow and cold. I like it myself (within reason)

Funny that you would bring that up considering that today is the last day of winter as far as I'm concerned .

Going to be in the 80's tomorrow, I think Spring may just pass us by Our winter has been abnormally mild.

I am trying to stay in "hibernation" mode . This, so far, mild winter makes it hard though. A little to wet right now to hook up the plow and go over the garden spots again.

I've definitely got spring fever...that's why I'm spending a good amount of time on this forum...can't wait to pull my tractor out of hibernation.

I've got it bad.....I guess I'm getting old 'cause it used to be racing and hotrodding stuff at every chance I could get no matter what the weather, but nowadays I just want to be out working around my property whenever it's decent out. Ive been prepping up the tractor for the last 2 weekends. Ordering supplies for the garden. Planning some projects - trees / brush to clear (hopefully before they start turning too green again).....65*F today at work with all the shops open and fresh breeze blowing around while I worked. Really hating it when I have to go in the office for something....now they are talking about rain on Saturday
