I put a coat of car wax on my snow shovels to prevent build up. It works great and I expect it would do the same on a snow blower chute.
I like FF too, but why is it so hard to find compared to many other alternatives? (dealers aren't close) Also seems to be kind of expensive for how much you get out of the spray cans.![]()
Spray cans of Fluid Film are for very small applications. The gallons and air operated spray guns are more economical.
John Deere dealers sell Fluid Film and the FF website has a dealer locater. Someone posted an Internet supplier that had good prices and decent shipping but I can't recall where that post is.
Maybe do a search on TBN.
I guess I don't understand marketing as it seems they could have more sales if sold in box stores, auto parts stores, etc. Far easier to buy wd40, pam and the like in these stores, I realize these do not contain the same ingredients, but apparently many use them for the same purposes as ff. If I recall correctly, a JD dealer wanted close to $40 for a gallon of the stuff.
FEL is now coated with WD-40.
