Spray for Pasture Weeds

This year I have had poison sumac spread over about 4 acres of well established pasture. Any recommendations for a pasture herbicide would be appreciated. I don't want to lock dogs or horses out if possible.

Remedy is what I've just started to use with fair results. I need to work on my spraying technique, but think it will clean up the pasture in a few years of spraying it. Grazon is also supposed to be pretty good. The important thing after figuring out your mixture and how fast or slow to drive while spraying is when to spray. The instructions will say when it's the best time, which is usually late spring when the plant is actively growing. Summer is usually the wrong time to spray.

That Remedy Ultra that Eddie mentioned is some good stuff, I've been killing briars and small trees with it the past 2 years in fields. It is also some dangerous stuff, don't get it on you if you can help it.

Remedy is Triclopyr 60.45% and inert ingredients. This is as strong an herbicide as you can buy over-the-counter.

No label directions for mixing in one or two gallon quantities.

I use Remedy with caution, mostly along fence lines. Unlike 2-4d, Remedy works primarily on roots. Therefore ground should be moist or rain expected at time of Remedy application.

I would have horses and dogs out for eight hours after Remedy application, myself. I am cautious.

Gordon's Pasture Pro Herbicide Concentrate, 2.5 gal., 8111122 at Tractor Supply Co.
This what I used last year and it worked pretty good. Ill have to reapply it, but the nice thing is it can be grazed on right away. I'm not sure if this will work for sumac.

TSC has this in two sizes.
Brushtox Brush Killer with Triclopyr, Concentrate, 64 oz., 75261 at Tractor Supply Co.

Crossbow is another one.

This has less triclopyr, but I will spike it with the some of the Brushtox at times. It works on sweetgum, persimmons and blackberry vines as well as other broad leaf plants.
Gordon's Brush Killer For Large Property, 1 gal., 232172 at Tractor Supply Co.

Both of these can be sprayed with no waiting for grazing at least for horses.

Remedy worked well on on scrub oak and other broadleaf weeds in my rocky pastures. If I remember correctly, there's a time listed to prohibit grazing, like two weeks. (?)

Was pretty pricey though...
