splined adapter for a 9 tooth window lift motor ideas??

just wondering what a guy could fit over a window lift motor that is a 9 tooth , so I can hook that (weld prob) onto a snowblower chute crank arm? Its a 70's ford one,, I read a post somewhere where someone used a Ford one, so thats what I used.. thanks

You could drill a hole in a piece of metal so it would slip over the gear and put a setscrew in it.

I used an old socket that fit the gear. Then I got some square stock that I welded to the crank arm.

You could make your adapter (welding, what not) and then bore the center to the OD of the splines and JB Weld that on.
