Speedex Model 1630

I was out looking at some Timberland and ran across this cute little tractor in a food plot. Had to Google it up to figure out a "Speedex" tractor. Interesting history. I do not know if it is still used or not. I am hoping it is not just rusting away.

That would be a nice restoration project. Awsome tractors, just never had the marketing behind them.

Looks in good shape. Nice thing about Speedex; very easy to repair and redo. My guess would be made in the mid to late 1970's.

I happen to own one exactly like it my dad purchased in 1978. They are really a wonderful little tractor. If you can get your hands on that one and have a use for it .... latch on! I am contemplating selling this little guy myself, but don't quite know what to ask for it. Anyway good luck man.

I have one very similar to this one. I'm told it was a 1948. A good little worker. Has 3-point hitch (manual raise and lower via lever) but no PTO. I just bought a B2320 so will probably be selling the Speedex. I have insufficient storage space and don't want it to just rust away.
