I need to find the rubber plug type drain for a speedaire air filter regulator for my shop air system. It's the style that to drain water you pull the little rubber tip off sideways to drain off water. It's about 1/2" diameter and maybe 1-1/2" long goes on the clear plastic jar on the bottom. I've not found any local source that even knows what I'm talking about. Grainger supply can't do anything without some kind of number and then they say there nothing showing my description for a drain. I don't have any reference on the thing except it has 1/2" pipe inlet and outlets. Any body got any leads? Maybe a unversal rubber plug of somekind? bjr

How about using a 1/4" pipe tap, that's around 1/2" O.D. Tap it out, then put in a 1/4 turn petcock, or radiator drain. Cheep fix with low cost, just a thought. Gary
