Speed Control

Have a 2008 GC 2610 MF the speed control well not engage. I have cheeked the cable and it moves freely. Cannot find any information on this problem. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks

assuming HST, make sure no sticks are blocking the linkage underneath the tractor. fluid level ok. start with the simple stuff. if the pedal moves but the tractor doesn't is the linkage connected under the tractor and may sound stupid but is the range lever in neutral?

I think mine has a release on the brake peddle to. Make sure it isn’t slightly depressed
