Speed Control Pedal Does Not Return To Neutral

/ Speed Control Pedal Does Not Return To Neutral #11
The f series mowers have a neutral arm assemble pt# k3511-95740 that returns the pedal to neutral. It is ussually the bearing pt# 08141-06000 on the arm that goes bad and causes the pedal to stick. The neutral arm is mounted on a cam that can be turned to set the neutral position if it is off.

Agree, I replaced the bearing 080 and bushing 040 and the pedal has worked much better.

I also replaced bushings 020

These parts have Zerk fittings and should be lubricated regularly.

Wondering is anyone has had issues with their speed control pedal not returning to neutral? When I depress the pedal to go forward or backward and then let off, the pedal stays depressed and tractor continues to travel that direction. I was under it after plowing tonight and looked at all the linkage and return spring and that all appears to be good. I am thinking that the dampener that keeps the pedal from returning to neutral too abruptly may have extra resistance. Anyone had to replace one yet?

Thanks!
My MX5200 had this problem. 2 small pieces of linkage needed to be replaced.
