Speaking of Carpenter Bees

A few weeks ago there was a carpenter bee discussion, I think on this forum. I just got a new digital camera recently, or I would have added this photo to the thread. The picture is the handle of a garden rake - - it was stored in the garage when this happened. The garage door gets shut every night, so this is either one day's work, or they came back for repeated visits.

I used to have problems with wasps and yellow-jackets and they sold me a chemical that took care of both.
