Does anyone know of a source for loader bucket teeth to make your own toothbar. I would prefer someone closer to S. Georgia to save on shipping costs if possible.

I think I'd check with a heavy equipment dealer (Case, JD, NH). They sell individual teeth for construction equipment buckets and may have what you need to fabricate your toothbar.

Logan feeling lucky today? A current eBay search for "loader bucket teeth" brought back auctions for two different sets. eBay search click here

Try a Bobcat dealer if there is one near you. They have a good selection of bucket teeth that may be what you are looking for. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Check out the thread. There's a pic of mine there if you want to see a homebrew toothbar............chim

Darn, you'll need to hook the address together to click on it and make it work. I can't figger out how to make one of those fancey "click here" thingys, and if the URL is in one string it puts my screen in Panavision.

Weld-on bases for teeth = 12L6DW-8-2A-H..........$9.95/ea
Replaceable teeth for above = T41166................$3.08/ea
Roll Pin = 38-32028...........................................$0.79/ea

I will second the recommendation for Binkley and Hurst, as I also saw Chim's post in the past and bought the shanks, teeth and even the cutting edge to build one.

One note is that they have a few different style teeth you can buy. The ones I bought are FFC teeth and my bar looks like the FFC bar shown in this picture (posted by rancar some time back). My digital camera is broken so I can't take a picture of it.

I dealt with Kevin in parts and he was very helpful. I ordered 1/2" x 4" x 45 1/2" cutting edge ($28.66), Six shank w/teeth already installed their part # CAS B504447 ($15.71/ea.) and $21.15 UPS shipping to NY for a total of $144.07.

Paid a friend another $50 to weld up and was done at ~$200 so I figured I saved about $100. Of course I don't have any welding equipment or it would have been more.

Try bushog at Selma Alababama I put a loader on for a friends and he got the individual teeth to go onto one. I made a full tooth bar for a friends backhoe last year with them. They have 2 holes per tooth to go into the predrilled bucket edge. I just welded them to some flat stock that I had tapered on the edge. I think they are around 7 dollars each.
