Sorry to post a frequently asked question (but with a twist)

I've seen a lot of people ask if they have to take the snowblower's quick hitch off of their 2x20 model tractor when fitting the loader. I know the quick hitch bumps into the park stand on the 200cx loader.

My question is: do I also have to take off the prop shaft that connects the mid-PTO to the front bracket? It is such a pain to fit the shaft, as there is very little room to slide the collar... I have about 20 minutes of loader work to do and would like to avoid completely removing the assembly.

If it doesn't interfere with anything, then leave it on.

I found that the quick attach assemby for the drive shafts wouldnt clear on mine. I had to remove the drive shaft from the mid mount PTO to install the loader. The nice thing is that it is Quick attach! It only takes me a few minutes to do this. :thumbsup:

Ended up borrowing another tractor and I'm lucky I did... the 2320 wouldn't have been able to handle the task. Which means I'd have spent all day trying with my tractor and then tomorrow doing it with the right equipment.

I hate to make myself seem so lazy, as I wasn't excited about lying down in the snow trying to put the PTO shaft back on... but it's good to know the answer.
