You might consider ShelterLogic. Very easy to assemble on site, but I would either make a foundation, or use enough ground anchors.I hear ya, I've been making do with something similar myself for the last 15+ years. Get maybe 3 years out of a tarp before the UV gets to it. I do make a point of keeping the snow cleared off it, had a second one collapse after a late season "heart attack" snowstorm a couple years ago.
Would love to have one of those shipping container sheds myself, but even if I could get the approval of the chief aesthetics officer, not sure there'd be a way to physically get one where I'd want it due to terrain.
They have several grades of covers, and the higher grade(s) seem heavier duty, and they are of a different, more UV resistant plastic. The base grade lasted us 5-7 years in the sun and wind here. The jury is out on the higher grade version, but it is not showing any signs of wear after five years.
