Some people are Pigs

Now there is a statement that won't require you to elaborate any further.
:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:
In other words "say no more"

Ya know....
I am really considering that song I mentioned in another thread...
It seems more and more applicable to some people here!!!!!!

Just to went. We have a public road along our front line, say 500 feet. I just went and picked up all the stuff people toss, every week it is a bucket; I wonder if it is justifiable to shoot somebody for littering the road.

Joking of course:D

Worst roads to live on around here all the road to the dump, lots of stuff that fall out of trucks and the roads leading to the poultry plants, dang chicken and turkey feathers everywhere along the roads.

I sympathize with you. I mowed our frontage yesterday afternoon. Tried to pick up stuff first, but there is always the odd plastic bottle hiding in the tall grass that gets shot across the road.
Sometimes you can find yourself a prize. Yesterday I found a large magnetic "National Guard" sign that must have blown off of one of the recruiter's cars. Looks good on the shop refrigerator.

My most significant find was a big boxed cake once.

OK fellas....Here is a question for you > What would you do if you were mowing the right of way in front of your house and came upon a tightly wrapped package , let's say about 2 ft. X 2ft by 1 ft. deep and tied with a string and you opened it and there were stacks and stacks of banded $100.00 bills...A package that size could easily contain over $1,000,000.00 ...What would you do..? Let's say there was no name or other identifying marks on the package or any of the bills and the package was laying there covered up by the tall grass ? You here about this once in awhile..I have often wondered how many crooks or drug dealers accidentally or on purpose ditch their loot ..What would you do ? LOL

first Id be thankful I hadn't mowed over it like the other litter. LOL Ill have to think on this one awile..
A consideration is it could be marked money or serials taken , or could be fake..
Years ago my mom threw the monopoly game in the incinerator outside and money blew all over the hood lol

OK Belam...let's make it more interesting...So you take one of the hundred dollar bills to your bank and tell them you found it and wondered if it was real..? They check it and say it is real and hand it back to you and you ask them to give you change and they hand you 5 $20's...OK now what do you do ? LOL

I suppose the first thing I would do is research the laws in to see how the "finders keepers" thing works in my state. Then I would probably contact the state police, turn it in, and get a receipt for it.
You never know, you could end up getting it free and clear, without having to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life.
Worst case is that it is stolen bank loot, even then you may get a reward. Crooks aren't likely to go to the local state police post and try and claim a lost million bucks.

First thing I 'd do before I even opened the package is call a bomb squad. I 'd rather be a live poor man than a rich dead one.

What an intresting thread. I learned how bad people could be while I was in college. I worked at a rental car company at the airport. Generally speaking the out of area renters that flew in were pretty clean. Usually nothing more than some newspaper or coffee cups. The local renters were generally pigs. Half eaten food thrown on the floor and stepped on, diapers, used hygene products and all manner of filth were frequently left behind.

not only are people pigs.. they are theaves too!!!

Drove my truck to the beach... had a fairly new reese 2in drop 2in ball mount without a lock in the hitch...

And it lasted until last night....

TOTALLY forgot about it...

They took it and left 2 beach chairs, 2 lounge chairs and the 4 toyota tie downs in the bed....

no biggie-- $30 at most any store.. but ya know how sad!:confused2:
