Around here there would be a lane closure, at least two pickups with directional boards and 2 flag personnel.

Yes, normally we should have had some people to handle the traffic but it's late and very little traffic so and it was approved by the road authority to do it the simple way.

Common sense prevails! I like it.

I have seen some work areas where setup might take several hours for a ten minute job with questionable safety measures.
