some 5000 teaser pics

This is of her a week ago.. The tractor in the background is my ford 660 with 1-arm loader.. I've been using her as a tug since the 5000 was partially disassembled.

More recent shot.. that's not finish paint.... just some scuffed blue "ahem" test paint i threw on last week...

Did your 5000 say Commander on the hood ?
Yours has the same steering setup as my friends 500 with the add on turbo. I understand they used at least two different steering setups.

Being a 75 model.. mine has the 'new' steering setup.. Old one had a few problems and was integral with the pedistal.. harder to fix.

Didn't say comander onthe front. ( In fact.. I'v only seen 6000 commanders ).

Lookin' mighty good so far! I'm assuming (since all the rest of your projects seem to get finished correctly) that you'll be applying new decals. Where do you get them? I'm wanting to re-paint my 3000 this winter. Does NH still carry them? Or do you use aftermarket?

I'm sure NH has them.. but I like mylar and metal decals on some for originality.. and i get a few from TISCO, and some from tractorparts.com
