solenoid for Kubota L245DT

The solenoid in my tractor has been repaired by an auto electrician but still isn't working correctly. I have been told be other people that solenoids are usually replaced, but I was told by the a-electrician that they are not available for this tractor. Can anyone tell me where I can get a new one?

Welcome to TBN. Which solenoid are you referring to? I have the same tractor as you and my parts book for it does not list a solenoid but does show a magnetic clutch on the starter. The part number is 15321-63020 but it has been replaced with part number 70000-65323. The Kubota parts people can send you diagrams of the area in question. Good luck.

your starter should be denso off set gear reduction assuming this is correct the solenoid from the o/e is not available but your solenoid can be rebuilt. you state it was repaired this to me means they replaced the contacts takes 2 put in the 2 copper bolts new this is good but if you have have a problem with it pulling in at first contact and holding it probably is with the copper wound coil in the solenoid this part can be replaced several companies offer replacement coils your rebuilder should know of a company named w.a.i. or j.n. they both offer the parts but you must look at pictures to match it up there is no guessing the correct one it has to be correct and most will run about twenty bucks????? if they cant help send me a message about your location and i will put you in contact someone who will fixit
