Solar Electric Fence Installation Questions

I need to fence a 2 acre by 6 acre area at the farm and want to put in an electric fence. The main function is for deer control, not livestock control.

Where is a good source of information about electric (solar) fence basics and install? I have never done this before so I will need something I can learn from.

I ditto Ken Cove, lots of good info. Parmak makes good quality stuff, their website has useful info for picking the right equipment, even has little pictures of animals.

I don't know where you can look for info but I purchased my solar electric at Southern States. I purchased the larger model and it is good for 9+ miles of fence. It has worked great for the last 3 years with no issues. Most winters I store it inside since it it not needed in the winter.

I have used it for 4 acres with 2 strans of wire.
