I don't think having it in 4 wheel drive or the diff lock stuck would make any difference in ground speed. The only thing I can think of is a stuck break, or it change ranges. Does it have a low, med and high range? Did you bump it into med range?

Just low and high.

Coming from a paranoid person, I would look into it. I don't know about the B's but isn't there a throttle stop on the pedal? Maybe it came off? Air Pocket inthe hydraullics that worked its way out? (Ok, so this one might be reaching out there).

I agree 4WD/Diff lock wouldn't make a difference.

For the guys out there that really know there stuff, is it possible that pump starting pumping more fluid then it should? Some valve go bad?
