So many ZTR\'s?

I have questions on ZTRs I hope the forum can help with. I have looked at Gravely(Ariens),EXMARK,John Deere, and Husqvarna(Yazoo) in person so far, others only on the net. The EXMARK and the John Deere look very similar, but I have not had them side by side for comparison. Does any one know which ZTR's are made by one manufacturer and sold by another? For budget and lawn constrains I am looking for a mid mount ZTR in the 6-7k range which leaves out the very top of the line mowers. Any personal machine experiences would be appreciated. By the way I have 12 acres of which only around 4.5 would be mowed with this machine, the rest with my tractor/bushhog. The area cut has trees/bushes/house/barn etc to cut around. I have looked at the archives but questions still remain. Thanks in advance.....Landry

Landry, your application is very similiar to mine. 3 acers grass, 3 acers pasture. STT for the grass, Kub. w/ brush hog for the horse area. The STT cut my mowing time down from 5+ hrs to under 2 hrs. And with it's turning and stability characteristics, it is a very safe machine. Sorry I did not respond eairler, but I just purchased a F350 diesel and was concentrating on learning about this new technology. (my first diesel truck, first Ford) Rich
