The dealer called me this morning to tell me kioti wants him to bring home the tractor sense they fixed the issue the ignition switch again. But when they went to start it guess what it wouldn't turn over again. But there is nothing wrong with it. So kioti wants them to put another one in a send it back to use. The dealer said I have a bad feeling with this. It's time he said to get the lawyers involved we have been holding out hoping they would do right by us. But they keep lying and now the dealer is starting to have a hard time getting a hold of kioti . What a great tractor company kioti( being sarcastic). They are head of a pack a broken down pack.

First, I'm sorry to hear about your continued frustration. My dealings with corporate Kioti have all been good experiences.

I'm not sure how they have lied to you unless you've left something out of the story.

They are not doing enough for you if they just want another switch installed and the tractor sent back. There is obviously another problem with it, but I have to wonder if they're taking this approach because you've threatened them with litigation you've told them nothing but a new tractor is going to satisfy you.

My experience is they are a great tractor company and I can say for sure it's not a broken down pack.

I obviously wouldn't accept it back. This is exactly why I would have insisted on a loaner, creates a lot more motivation for them and reduces the urgency for you.

Get Perry Mason he always wins.

I can see why Kioti would be reluctant to refund money or trade for a new tractor seeing it is just a simple fix of a switch, kind of silly to request a new tractor/full refund because of a switch. I think I would get an extended warranty (for free and with transportation cost to dealer included) and just either sell the tractor or continue to use it.

Well if it was just a simple switch but it's not they have replaced all the electrical and they still can't get it to run. Now kioti is returning the dealers call. He said he is getting a bad feeling. One they told us when they took the tractor they where only taking pictures to start the proses of either our money back or a new tractor. That is where they lied to us. Kioti won't pay for a loaner. But keep tell my wife there is nothing wrong then tell the dealer to fix another lie. The dealer calls us when they tell to fix then tell us nothing wrong .

Just stay grounded and off the sympathy stump (meaning stay focused on the tractor problem and leave out personal problems).

I tend to agree. Like I stated in your other thread, I sincerely wish YOU the very best. Honey gets better results than Vinegar. This is an Old Country Saying.

Not that you want to just keep throwing parts at it but it does seem electrical and another member a year or so ago had gremlin electrical problems and the dealer changed the main wiring harness after much frustration and then all was good. Was this ever considered?

OK,I call BS that the Kioti dealer is having a hard time getting a hold of Kioti Corp because of YOUR TRACTOR problem.I have my doubts that your dealer really told you it,s time to get lawyers involved.SOOOO let me get this straight,back in your orginal post(So it still doing it)post #71 you state you have already have a lawyer involved is that correct?Now you say Kioti dealer tells you it,s time get lawyers involved?Which one is it?I thought you already had the local Attorney General and your lawyer involved? I guess it,s your story you can tell it anyway you want?LOL.

Dealer has a bad feeling about what? That Kioti Corporate told them to replace the ignition switch again? You say it's not the switch, that they (who?) has replaced ALL the electrical. What ALL the electrical specifically? Entire wiring harness? Battery, alternator, dash cluster? Relays, WHAT, EXACTLY....
Dealer can't get in touch with Kioti Corporate? Kioti Corporate isn't returning calls from dealer?
What Kioti dealer is this tractor at?
Sarcasm and slamming Kioti on this Kioti forum isn't helping your case any.
You say dealer is telling you to get the lawyers involved? Based on what we've all endured here of your ongoing tractor saga, I for one doubt that will change anything.
I might be inclined to stop paying on it and walk away, chalking it up as an unresolved loss.
That's just my take on it at this point, based on what you say is going on. YMMV.

Nathan;

Coobie and Coyote Machine make some very good points.
Perhaps it would be helpful if Whittemore and Sons replied to this thread and let us know what (if any) parts were defective. It sounds like Kioti and Whittemore are doing everything for you short of giving you a refund, and yet you still trash them both on here and on facebook. I think you have another agenda.

In the meantime, best wishes on the sale of your home, and the construction of Kanuwodi.

You do realize that LaK gets more hits on his tractor woes than almost any other thread? He is like a streaker at a Football game, everyone watches and then everyone wants to talk about it.

This is getting boring and old fast.
And I know I don't have to read the post.

This is my first time to read this, but I too tend to question the writer. I don't think a credible dealer is going to tell you to get the lawyers involved because he will be named as well. Kioti does call it's dealers back and they do try to solve the issue w/ the dealer.
I doubt very highly that they are going to refund you or give a new tractor (not), in your dreams! Also,it's not Kioti's decision to give a loaner. That is a dealer level decision. If he deems you a great customer and worthy of a loaner he might do so, but it is out of his pocket, not Kioti.

So I think you ought to lay off Kioti a little and basically start over w/ the dealer. And remember, there are two sides to every story.

I can believe a mechanic at the dealer said to contact a lawyer, but not dealer management/owners. They are intertwined in this situation and would be part of the lawsuit. It would be the same as saying sue me! I get the feeling we are not getting the full picture. All businesses have one driving force. "Profit". Profit is not a bad thing when dealing with large companies looking to increase there brand recognition and longevity. It makes them act in a certain way. They protect their brand name. That is why there are thousands of post on this forum alone, of customers who are satisfied with Kioti equipment and customer service. Ford, Chevy, John Deere, Cat, etc. have a small number of cases of flawed equipment. They fix it, because it is in the best interest of the Company sometimes even when it is the operators fault. Kioti is just the same. There is more to this and the mechanics / electronics of this are not that hard. The starting circuit is basically the same on every piece of equipment. As a mechanic and automotive electrical repair tech, I would be ashamed that this was not fixed in the first few days. The fact is a simple glaring problem. The mechanic at the your dealership know nothing about electrical troubleshooting. It is the dealership who is the problem, and it sounds as if they are blaming someone else. Electricity act a certain way and this does not change for brands. You need a real mechanic and troubleshooter.

Nathan;
Any sign of that tractor yet? It sounds like Whittemore is making every effort to ensure your Kioti is problem free when it returns.

On a different, but much more exciting topic, congratulations on selling your home for charity. There are very few people, if any, that would sell their home and donate that money to the less fortunate. It's hard to believe. You must be very much admired and appreciated in your community.

TBN members have heard so much about your Kanuwodi art retreat, but not very much about the school. So what are you building first? Kanuwodi , or the school? Where are you building the school?
Again, congratulations on selling your home to finance the charity projects. . Please post pictures of Kanuwodi and the new school during construction, and pictures of that Kioti hard at work.
