With all the talk of plowing snow I thought some would like to see this

Looks like a clever idea and gets the full width with one pass as well has the liquid ice brine to lay down at the same time. Don't know why WI doesn't have them, or if they do I haven't seen/heard about them.

Didn't see the video (dial-up), but MO DOT started using tow plows either last year or the year before! ~~ grnspot110

Around here, there aren't any DOT drivers that would be qualified to operate something like that. Or at least not without having two escorts up front, and two following..... negating any savings. If our state had one, there would be piles of cars pushed into the ditches. I guess it would be good for the towing services though.............

Seems to me these would be great for interstates and large highways.

didn't look like it was doing that great of a job.

2 trucks with front and side plows (or 3 trucks) could do a better job faster.

it also looked like the roads were not that bad in front of that truck, and that configuration keeps any traffic from going around it.
