Hi tractorman71,
I've got a question for you. Do you NOT have a FEL??? Does this arrangement work better than a FEL and Bucket on the Front??? I guess you could angle the blade and move snow off to the side like grading gravel. I guess with a FEL and Bucket you are just "Pushing" snow like a Bulldozer am I correct??? We do not get anywhere near the snow that you have got in the pictures.

skoalman, I have a loader,with a Q/A bucket and forks. the loader comes off in about 2-3 mins. on my last tractor (kubota L2900 4X4 loader/backhoe) I had a curtis blade that pins on where the bucket goes. that was nice for piling snow up high,but this set up works better for me because it is shorter, makes turning,manuvering easier and faster. as far as plowing with a bucket,you make one pass, and snow trickles off BOTH sides. then you have to make two passes to clean up the "tails",and so on. you get the idea. on a small driveway, this would'nt be a big deal,but it takes me 90 mins. everytime it snows to plow everything I do (including my parents up the road) I also have an old F250 with a plow just incase it's real cold or windy,no cab on the NH yet. (and that is a BIG yet)
