I am going to purchase a rear snowblower and I checked with woodmaxx and they said I could go with the 84" snowblower for my machine.I also checked everything attachments and it looks like they only go up to 74" .I have a 10' wide gravel road about a 1/2 mile long any recommendations on sizes or manufacturers would be appreciated.I am not going to the front mounted due to the cost

I bought a Woodmaxx SB60 last year to run on the back of my JD 750. The steel is thicker than the other brands I looked at, the build quality is outstanding and the price was better than others. I've never used a 3 pt. blower before, so I have no frame of reference, but it ran smooth as silk and scraped to the pavement. I may sell it to buy a SB72 for the back of a Kubota L4240 I recently purchased.

That's a lot of road to clear with a rear mount blower. A 4610 should handle an 84" with no trouble. IMO, bigger is better in your situation. Make sure you get a unit with adjustable skid shoes or you'll be throwing gravel as well as snow.

I found you can get a FEL plow for about the same money. I use one on the FEL of my L6060 along with a Woods RM74 blower on the rear. I much prefer working forward to avoid the stiff neck you get from backing up.

On a short run the width of the blower is less important imho... an extra pass on the <500 ft residential driveways I do is no big deal. 10 ft wide driveway + 1-2 feet extra on each shoulder with the 7 ft blower will likely save you a bit of time.
I run a 6 ft rear mount LuckNow blower on 20 or so shorter residential drives, and it suits me fine. When I was looking at blowers 10 years ago the Canadian manufactures all caught my eye as being significantly heavier duty and better built. Lots of good brands out there, but Pronovost and LuckNow were at the top of my list.
