Snow Snow yesterday

   / Snow yesterday #21
I found chains for the front for 75.00 vs 475.00 for the back . Was thinking for now buying front chains just worried it mitt Screw up the front end

Others will give the opposite opinion but I think you will be OK with front only chains. Just don't spin the heck out of the wheels which is how you should drive on snow/ice anyway. Also, 2 link ladders would be better than 4 link ladders for more consistent traction and less slippage. They will also ride smoother.

Front only chains won't entirely eliminate the 360 spin possibility on a downhill though. It may even make it worse given that the front end would be grabbing more with the rear end more likely to spin out.
