ccaigy. How did you fare? We got scared in our neck of the woods when they evacuated everyone along the river, but the big round of rains stayed north and we just had maybe an inch or two...

I think I saved my road from washing out. That was my big claim to fame for the holiday... Now I just have to keep the next door neighbor kids from driving there 2 wheel drive quad on the property and I am square...

Hey WF,

I bet you guys were pretty concerned about the Lewis river coming up. That could cut a bunch of people off!

We did fine here, being up on a hill. We got a little over 5" one day and around 2" the next and i think along with all the snow melting caused some unusual flooding areas. Were cut off from one direction and then the other for a day at most. I was at work most of it though. Doing IT work setting up remote network support for emergency services etc.

A friend of mine, that does the same thing down in Lewis county, was at work for two days straight!

Good thing you were paying attention to your road and making sure it was staying in place. I did a little work on our road when plowing the snow, to make sure the melt would crown off the road.
